Fleur Sexton is Deputy Lieutenant, representing Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the West Midlands, Businesswoman of the Year and CEO of multi-award winning PET-Xi Training and co-founder of PET-Xi Restaurants.

Fleur Sexton, said: “Dave and I decided to set up Metropolis to breathe life back into the city centre and offer amazing food in a stunning location, we want Metropolis to be a real destination for the city, and become a ‘must visit’ location, renowned for feel good food during City of Culture Year and beyond.
“There is so much going on in Coventry with new venues opening and City of Culture which is making it a very exciting city to be a part of, so it seemed a fantastic time and opportunity to do this.
“We cannot wait for people to see what we have on offer at Metropolis and we look forward to welcoming everyone in.”
Dave Lewis is General Manager of multi-award winning PET-Xi Training and co-founder of PET-Xi Restaurants.
At the age of 19 Dave fell into working in hospitality in the Kitchens of local pubs whilst trying to find a career to change his life. His love for food and being a chef started immediately and at the age of 21 moved away from his native Leicester to work in kitchens around the UK learning from any chefs he could. Just a couple of years later Dave moved into managing pubs and bars for hospitality giant Whitbread learning every aspect of hospitality management along the way.
After many years in the hospitality business, Dave, fuelled by a passion to help young people to find their own direction in the same way hospitality did for him, decided to take a totally different direction and started out as a Trainer with PET-Xi Training. Working in a small family business allowed everyone involved to help the hardest to reach and make a difference to many young lives.
Over the years Dave has helped PET-Xi Training to become one of the biggest training companies in the UK, helping thousands of individuals break barriers and seize opportunities to change their lives and developed a culture of engagement, success and empowerment to make communities stronger, happier and more effective.
