Matt Perrins Head Chef for Metropolis has designed an inclusive menu with the intention of offering Carnivores, Vegans and Vegetarians an amazing place to eat, with something to suit every taste.
Matt began his career as a kitchen porter at a local butchers on work experience, years later his passion for cooking allowed him to work all over the world whilst serving in the military and his proudest moment was cooking for royalty.
Matt is experienced in training and working with young people and is looking forward to being a mentor and passing on his experience as he has benefited from a similar journey himself.
Nathan has been in the hospitality industry since he was just 18 and has worked in all areas of the business. Before joining Metropolis, he spent 12 years working for the Stonegate Pub Company, working his way up from bar staff to team leader, then up to deputy manager and finally becoming public house general manager at 28.
After working in the pub industry for a number of years Nathan decided he wanted to switch up his career and move into restaurant management. This gave him the opportunity to work as restaurant manager at Marco Pier White’s in Birmingham.
When Metropolis offered him the chance to run an amazing new restaurant in the heart of the city centre it was an opportunity he couldn’t turn down. Nathan brings his unique blend of talent and experience to Metropolis, with the aim of making it one of the most exciting venues in the West Midlands!
All the team are very excited about this opportunity to help young people at the same time helping to build back an industry which has been significantly damaged by COVID.
